Location: Brookline, MA
Ages of children: 18 months, with part-time care of their older child (age 6),
Start date: ASAP
General schedule: Approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., typically Monday to Friday. A guaranteed of 45 hours a week. Flexibility is required, particularly occasional evenings and during travel weeks.

Occasional overnight stays at the family’s home in the city may also be requested.

A nanny with significant experience working with infants and toddlers, and is knowledgeable about children’s development & genuinely loves caring for them.

Flexible with scheduling.

Emotionally regulated and attuned to the children’s needs, but can also enforce boundaries when needed.

Someone who is comfortable in the water is a preference, but not a requirement

Enjoys cooking healthy and well-balanced meals
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Plan and actively engage the children in fun, age-appropriate activities.

School pick-up and drop-off for the eldest child.
-
Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (e.g., transitioning to solids, learning to walk, potty training, etc).

Taking the children to activities and playdates.
-
Diaper changes and supporting healthy hygiene.
-
Maintaining the child’s nap and eating schedules.
-
Children’s laundry.
-
Meal preparation for the children.
-
Keeping the home’s main spaces and the child’s room clean and tidy.
Requirements:

3+ years of recent full-time nanny experience with children of similar ages.

Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
-
2-3 relevant references.

Able to travel; travel with the family is expected a couple of times per year
Compensation: $30– $35 gross hourly.
Benefits:

Major Holidays: The nanny will have every Thanksgiving and Christmas off. Other major holidays, such as New Year’s Eve and the Fourth of July, will alternate each year. The family is happy to be flexible for important personal events or religious holidays with advance notice.
